So Carmen Ba-Ram-Usen is finally no longer a contestant on AI...thank the lord, there is a God and the powers that be are smiling on me.

On another note: anyone think that the "Shine" song written by Diane Warren is horrible? Either they didn't sing it properly, or it was badly written, but either way, I did not enjoy that group song at all. Even more so than I disliked last week's "For the Longest Time" (the girls were definitely under par on that one and the song really did go on for the longest time...) Argh, maybe they should stick to the more upbeat things like All Night Long and Boogie Wonderland or something. Also on another note: Josh shouldn't be allowed to dance, or even allowed to attempt to do so...some of his movements during the more upbeat songs made me embarrassed for him.

On another note (take note: I have a lot of notes), was it just me, or during tonight's show, did they mistakenly label Kim Locke's family as Josh's family? Because I didn't know that Josh was even remotely African-American. I don't remember whether it was "Josh's Friends" or "Josh's Family", but then, if they were Josh's friends, I didn't realize that Josh was friends with so many older (African-American) women...if so, then power to him....
